The Tamil Nadu board of the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) will conduct a Business Development Seminar for the small scale pharma entrepreneurs in Chennai on May 19.
The theme of the one day programme is ‘Marketing Innovation : The Fast and Promising Ways’, which will, it is hoped, provide entrepreneurs new innovative ideas to achieve top line marketing growth.
The seminar will be attended by the directors of the departments of HR and Marketing of all companies from Tamil Nadu. Besides marketing managers, sales managers, group managers, product/brand managers, marketing consultants and medical professionals from across the country will take part in the meeting.
Dr Raja Smarta, managing director of Interlink Marketing Consultancy will inaugurate the seminar and S V Veeramani, vice president IDMA will preside over.
Deepak Naik, managing director of EIL Pharmaceuticals will deliver a lecture on “Innovative Ways to Increase the Patient Pool through Prescribers”.
Talk on “Communication & Media Strategies for Physicians & Patient Communities” will be done by Gauri Chaudhari, Founder & CEO of Innerworld Consultancy, and Shailesh Patil, MD of Mumukshu Healthcare Pvt Ltd will deliver on “ Raising The Bars for Pharma Brand Manager”.
After lunch, the session will be started with a speech by Ruth D’ Souza , executive director – Interlink Marketing Consultancy on the topic “Successfully Launching of Dietary Supplements in India”.
Dr Surindar Kumar from TTK Healthcare Ltd, Chennai will make his presentation on “Business in Rural Markets”.
After the talk on “Shifting Paradigms in the role of Message and Messenger- A Strategy For Pharma Product Management” by R S Raghavan, Tablets (India) Limited, there will be a panel discussion on “ Slow Death or Rebirth of Ethical Marketing.”
