Indian Hospital Pharmacists Association (IHPA) will hold its 28th Annual conference on October 9 at Lucknow. The conference is to be inaugurated by Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh.

According to A K Adhikari, president, IHPA, the event is to be the biggest conference ever for IHPC with around 400 delegates participating in a one-day training programme that is part of the conference. "We conduct 40-50 programmes every year for hospital pharmacists from various parts of the country", Adhikari informed.

IHPA has over 3100 life members and another 500 associate members. The main focus of the association is organising continuing education programmes for hospital pharmacists.
