InDevR inks six global distributor pacts, Automed roped in for India sales

InDevR, a  life science instrumentation company has signed six agreements with leading medical device distributors globally and Automed in India for its product  ViroCyt 2100 Virus Counter.

The Virus Counter is an important product which will  dramatically streamline research and development efforts for vaccine manufacturers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and researchers worldwide. The proprietary, patent-pending technology will allow scientists to expedite the vaccine development process and improve time-to-market.

Michael Minard, InDevR’s director of business development said the Virus Counter will be actively marketed to scientists in India, China, Japan, Korea, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States via select distributors.

“Current testing methodologies are inconsistent, sometimes unreliable and time consuming. Compared to old testing methodologies  which can take days to weeks to complete -- the Virus Counter provides scientists with accurate virus quantification within minutes of testing,” said Dr Kathy L. Rowlen, CEO and chief science officer InDevR.

“We have  now identified  knowledgeable distributors to help us market the Virus Counter to scientific communities across the world. ” added Dr Rowlen.  

Agreements have been executed with AR Brown Co. Ltd. to market the Virus Counter in Japan; Pharmatech Inc. in Korea; Applikon Biotechnology Inc. in US ; Applikon Biotechnology in  Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands and the UK; Automed Systems Pvt. Ltd. for India; and HuaYue Enterprise Holdings Ltd. for China.
