India Pavilion at 12th Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo 2005 inaugurated

Vietnam India Pavilion at 12th Vietnam Medi-Pharma Expo 2005, held from 17th - 20th May 2005 at Hanoi, Vietnam, was inaugurated by N Ravi, Ambassador of India.

While congratulating Pharmexcil for organizing India Pavilion, Ravi stressed Vietnam is a very important market which has been carefully built by many Indian exporters of drugs and pharmaceuticals. The recent visit of a Pharmexcil delegation to Hanoi in March 2005 and the participation in this exhibition in May 2005 is a sign of renewed interest by Indian pharmaceutical companies to identify new opportunities for growth in the Vietnamese market.

Indian Pavilion was also visited by. Dr Tran Thi Trung Chien, Vice Minister, Minister of Health, Vietnam. According to him, India is a very important country, as Indian contributes more than 25 per cent of drugs and pharmaceutical to Vietnam market.

Vietnam Medi-Pharma Expo 2005 showcased the most advanced and latest products and medical equipment of high quality from Vietnam and other parts of the world. Apart from India, other countries including China, Pakistan, Singapore, France etc. participated in this event.

Indian Pavilion received excellent response from the leading companies and the key government officials. During the exhibition, more than 76 serious enquiries generated from various companies and more than 2100 business visitors visited the Indian Pavilion.

Companies participated under Indian Pavilion coordinated by Pharmexcil are Mahima Exports, Ajanta Pharma, SG Pharma, Rajat Pharmachem and Gujarat Liqui Pharmacaps Limited, stated a release from Pharmexcil.
