ASM International has organised a workshop on 'Microwave technology for material processing - a promising option for tomorrow' in conjunction with Indo-US Forum from February 1-3, 2006 in Mumbai.
Twenty international experts and leaders in the field will provide an insight into a variety of subjects relating to microwave technology which include historical perspective of the microwave technology, mineral processing, recent developments in high process microwave processing in China, Japan and Europe, vulcanisation and pre heating of rubber, chemical synthesis and green chemistry, glass ceramics processing, bio ceramics, material synthesis, hospital waste management, pharmaceutical processing, nano-materials
The workshop is planned and designed as an international forum for presentations, discussions and deliberations on various aspects of microwave technology as they apply to a variety of industries. This workshop is aimed at expanding the application of microwave technology to address various need of the Indian industry and open opportunities for new collaborations among entrepreneurs and scientists.
