According to the company release, Lucas Anaerobic technology is an anaerobic wastewater treatment system that uses upflow anaerobic sludge blanket, upflow anaerobic contact, anaerobic filtration and hybrid anaerobic filtration technologies for treating wastewater depending on specific requirement. Lucas Aerobic combines the advantages of the conventional and the sequencing batch reactor technology.

Lucas Anaerobic- Aerobic, where the anaerobic stage is followed by an aerobic stage has been specifically developed to meet the needs of pharma industry. Both stages can be applied separately or in combination.

The technology has high COD removal efficiency in USAB reactor, high biogas production, low sludge production and compact design are few among other advantages, stated the release.
