The Indian Pharmaceutical Association, MP state branch, IPA Regulatory Affairs Division, Mumbai and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, S.G.S.I.T.S, Indore, have jointly organized a one day seminar on November 24 to develop the awareness about the amended Schedule 'M'. About 250-300 delegates attended the one-day seminar, which was conducted at the Golden Jubilee Hall of S.G.S.I.T.S, Indore.
R.A. Sharma, President IPA MP State Branch, Indore and S.C. Chaturvedi, head of the pharmacy department, S.G.S.I.T.S, welcomed the guests. In the inaugural speech, P.S. Dubey, Chairman, Pollution Control Board of MP said that if the medicine manufacturers want to leave a mark in the age of globalization, they should build credibility by manufacturing medicine of outstanding quality by following world parameters in technology and process. He also stressed the need to implement the revised good manufacturing practices in the drug industry by strictly conforming to the amended Schedule M.
The West Zone Senior Drug Inspector Kapil Bhargava highlighted the main points and salient features of the amended Schedule 'M.' Vijay U. Kshirsagar, General Manager, Quality Assurance gave details of the documentation process. G.L. Jain, Director, Corporate Channels Pvt Ltd, Udaipur delivered the details of options of amended Schedule 'M' requirements of clean room system design as per schedule 'M.'
