The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), a global not-for-profit association of 25,000 pharmaceutical science and manufacturing professionals, and Interphex have partnered for the first time to deliver a European product and services exhibition at the ISPE 2009 Strasbourg Conference, which will be held from 28th September to 1st October, 2009 in Strasbourg, France.
ISPE aims to be the catalyst for "engineering pharmaceutical innovation" by providing members with opportunities to develop technical knowledge, exchange practical experience, and collaborate with global regulatory agencies and industry leaders.
"The Palais de Congrès is an ideal location for attendees to meet a variety of exhibitors and learn about the products, services and new technologies on the market today," said ISPE president and CEO Robert P. Best. "We're thankful that Interphex is working with us to make this event the premier educational and networking opportunity for European pharmaceutical professionals."
In addition to the tabletop vendor exhibition, ISPE and Interphex have organized a variety of networking receptions that will allow exhibit attendees to engage and network with fellow seminar delegates, vendors, colleagues, and like-minded professionals from around the world.
The ISPE 2009 Strasbourg Conference, "managing knowledge through science and risk assessment," is also an opportunity for pharmaceutical professionals to benefit from regulatory and technical updates delivered by global industry experts during educational seminars and training courses. Workshops, case studies, and hands-on training are just a few of the ways industry leaders will help attendees hone their skills and knowledge.
Regulators from ICH regions including Emer Cooke, EMEA (UK), Yukio Hiyama, National Institute Health Sciences (Japan), Susanne Keitel, EDQM (Council of Europe), Jacques Morénas, AFSSAPS (France), and Jean Louis Robert, Laboratories National de Sante (Luxembourg) will present various sessions. Additional regulators from the USA and Europe have also been invited to present at the event.
