ITM-Hyderabad to launch Executive MBA programme from May 2004

Institute for Technology and Management (ITM)), Hyderabad is to offer 14-months ‘Executive MBA- Pharmaceutical Management’ programme from May 2004. The programme aims at training the pharma executives to meet the needs of fast growing pharma industry.

The course is to offer rewarding career and growth opportunities in the area of sales management, product and brand management, field operations, production and operations management. The course is an industry designed five-term course leading the ward of the Executive MBA, Dr AV Aswani Kumar, director of the Institute told Pharmabiz.

The executives of pharma companies with 1-2 years of experience are eligible to apply for the programme. The selection is based on the performance of candidates in the ITM entrance test followed by personal interview, Dr Kumar mentioned.

The Executive MBA Program is likely to begin from the first week of May 2004. Executives from companies like Dr Reddy’s and GVK Biosciences have already been selected for the first batch, he revealed.

It is significant to note that ITM-Hyderabad has been offering a two-year full time MBA- Pharma and Healthcare Management Programme since 1998, which has received wide acceptance from industry and candidates who have completed the programme have already been well placed in MNC’s, he added.

ITM has an academic association with Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, USA.
