Beijing | Monday, May 17, 2010, 08:00 Hrs  [IST]

IVT has completed a major update on its Mobile Health solution and will demo the first three 3G systems-based Mobile Health solutions for three major chronic diseases (hypertension, heart diseases and diabetes) at ATA 2010 and Indo Medica to be held between May 27 and 30.

IVT has ported the software on its original mobile phone (S120) for mobile health systems to Windows Mobile and Android platforms and can support three 3G systems. This enables users with a Windows Mobile phone or an Android phone to enjoy the Mobile Health solution without having to change to a new phone. This also gives Mobile Health providers more choices of phones to support different mobile operators.

Besides the blood pressure meter, ECG and pulse oximeter, the new solution has added a wireless glucose meter. This makes IVT Corporation the first in the world who has three 3G systems based turnkey Mobile Health solutions to monitor blood pressure, heart condition and glucose level simultaneously.

By using the device kit in this solution, a user can measure their blood pressure, review their cardiac activity, blood glucose level and blood oxygen level. The results, which stand for vital life signs, are displayed on the phones and sent to the user's Personal E-Health Record on a remote server where the data is saved and analyzed in real time. The whole procedure is fully automated. Also, the test results can be automatically forwarded to a third party via short messages, allowing a user's relatives to easily monitor their loved one's medical condition.

While IVT is providing Mobile Health services to end-users in China, the company will also export the complete system, including the online platform and devices kit, outside China. IVT can localize the online E-Health Record platform. IVT is currently looking for partners, distributors to provide such services worldwide.
