The drugs control department of Kerala government has banned selling of a few batches of some drugs and surgical items found to be of substandard quality, following sample tests conducted last month.

The ban was enforced following routine sample tests of the products seized from various medical stores in the state. This includes a few batches of Paracetamol, Cloxacilllin, Amoxyillin, vitamin capsules, bandage items etc. made by various manufacturers in different parts of the country.

The list of drugs, batches and manufacturer are as follows:
