Laxai Avanti, Maryland varsity to conduct certificate programme on GCP at Hyderabad on Oct 31-Nov 4
The Hyderabad-based Laxai Avanti Institute for Drug Development in collaboration with University of Maryland, USA is conducting a five-day workshop on clinical research at ICRISAT, Hyderabad on October 31-November 4, 2006.
The programme is designed for professionals in medical, pharmacy, nursing and hospital management and science who are currently engaged or aspiring to work in the field of clinical research and clinical trials. The programme provides comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the principles of ICH Good Clinical Practice.
It will cover all the aspects of ethical and scientific standards required to be maintained for the design, conduct, performance, monitoring, auditing, recording and reporting of clinical trials that involve human subjects.
The faculty includes Dr Pinaki Panigrahi, head-Translational Research at University of Maryland School of Medicine, US, Dr Robert J Hopkins, vice-president of Clinical Development at Emergent BioSolutions, US, Dr Shailesh Dave, senior vice-president, Laxai, US; Dr Vinay Shedbalkar, director, Laxai Avanti Institute, Hyderabad.
On successful completion of the workshop, the participants will receive a certificate from University of Maryland, USA.
