Lokmanya Hospital teams up with MCCIA to offer cardiac tests to mark World Heart Month

Lokmanya Tilak Hospitals, Pune, recently announced its association with Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA) to offer cardiac diagnostic tests to more than 4000 corporates associated with it, to mark the beginning of the World Heart Month.

Anant Sardeshmukh, Director General MCCIA Pune; Dr. NarendraVaidya, medical director Lokmanya Hospitals and Ashok Sen, COO Lokmanya Hospitals addressed the Press Conference and shared details of the association.

Keeping in sync with the theme of World Heart Day 2014 of “Heart choices NOT Hard choices”, Lokmanya Hospital has designed a special cardiac package for all the 4000 corporates associated with MCCIA. Highlighting the need to reduce the consumption of salt particularly in terms of improving health and reducing the stress associated with day-to-day work life, Lokmanya’s special package includes Stress test, ECG, Cardiac consultation at an incredible price of Rs.365 per person.

This unique health awareness which began from September 30, 2014 will run run over a month covering all the members in the 4000 corporates associate with MCCIA.

“We are very excited about our association with MCCIA. This association enables us to reach out to a large number of high stress levels individual through a common channel”, said Dr. NarendraVaidya, medical director Lokmanya Hospital. Further, he said that such associations were very important to spread awareness of the importance of regular checkups and appropriate precautions for a healthy heart.

“Given the growing stress level due to increasing pressure at work and in personal life, its very important that cardiac & health check up is done on a regular basis. It has been often noticed that there is extreme high stress levels amongst working professionals; hence we decided to organise this free cardiac camp for all the corporates.
