Lupin Ltd has received the "Best New Manufacturer of the Year, Generics Rx" award from AmerisourceBergen, a leader in healthcare distribution in the US. The award is in recognition of Lupin's contribution and commitment toward excellence as a generic drug supplier in the US.

For the quarter ended June 2007, Lupin's revenue and profit after tax were Rs 6173 million (US$ 152 million) and Rs 784 million (US$ 19 million) respectively.
