Lupin's US based subsidiary Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc., has received final US FDA approval for the Daysee -pill (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets, USP, 0.15 mg / 0.03 mg and ethinyl estradiol tablets, USP, 0 receive 01 mg), a generic version of Seasonique tablets of Teva Pharmaceuticals. Lupin has already begun shipping the product. The Daysee pill is indicated for contraception in women.
The Daysee pill Lupine is available for the long-term cycle, each of which tablets in packaging 13 weeks contains 84 light blue tablets, each with 0.15 mg levonorgestrel and 0.03 mg ethinyl estradiol, and seven mustard coloured tablets of 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol.
