The managing directors of two Bangalore-based companies, Micro Labs and British Biologicals, will receive the leadership awards at the Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit 2009 to be held at Le Meridian, Bangalore, India on January 24, 2009.

While Dilip Surana, managing director, Micro Labs will bag the company of the Year award, VS Reddy, managing director, British Biologicals has been recognized as India's most Admired Nutraceuticals Company.

Other seven winners are Anju Gupta, managing director, VHB Life Sciences Ltd for the Dynamic Company of The Year and C R Bhagat, chairman, VHB Life Sciences Ltd who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

S K Singh, managing director, Cachet Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd will receive the Emerging Company of the year Award. In the Lifetime Achievement Awards, Suresh Kare, chairman, Indoco Remedies Ltd and Samprada Singh, chairman, Alkem Labs Ltd are the winners.

Manohar Kothari, managing director, Indo German Pharma Equip Pvt Ltd bags the Life Time Achievement Award in Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing while Dr Himadri Sen, president, R&D, Ranbaxy Ltd will receive the award for the Innovations in New Drug Delivery Systems in the pharma sector.
