Amedisys is a leading home health and hospice nursing company operating 508 Medicare-certified home health agencies and 61 Medicare-certified hospice agencies in 38 states within the US.

Increasing regulatory mandates and oversight in the healthcare industry are compelling companies to streamline processes related to policy and procedure management, compliance management, risk management, internal audits, quality of services and operations, incident tracking, corrective action plans and regulatory reporting. By adopting MetricStream as the technology infrastructure, Amedisys will be able to continue to automate the reporting of its risk and compliance information.
