The facility was launched by Asha Dinesh, trustee, Ashraya Hasta Trust, Bangalore facility.
Explaining about the new facility, Dr Kulkarni, said, “There are several environmental reasons that affect fertility among couples, in today’s world. Lifestyle changes, obesity, smoking, high stress career and late marriage are found to be some of the most common factors for infertility. The Institute for Reproductive Medicine will provide IVF services, a process in which an egg is fertilized outside the uterus and then implanted to achieve a pregnancy through Assisted Reproduction.”
“We believe in providing efficiency, technological excellence and the highest code of ethics combined with compassion to the masses. There would be emphasis on the general well-being of the couple and our counsellors and nutritionists are fully involved in the treatment from the very beginning. We have also designed economy packages to provide assisted reproductive technology services to a larger section of the population,” she added.
