In an attempt to spread healthcare services and reach out to patients across the city, Narayana Hrudayalaya has launched two multi-specialty diagnostic clinics in the city.

Currently two centres are functional in Bangalore at Kumarakrupa Road and HSR Layout. The next centre is expected to come up in Hosur. Plans are to open up a chain of 10 clinics across Bangalore at an investment of around Rs 1 crore per clinic. Narayana Hrudayalaya is aiming at 100 clinics across the country in the coming years.

"We constantly strive to provide world-class healthcare to our patients ensuring comfort especially during post-operative follow-ups. With city centres, we have come closer towards our promise of accessibility in every part of the city. We plan to replicate this model across the country and set up such centres in every state capital to begin with," stated Dr Devi Shetty, chairman, Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Abhay P Singavi, operational head, Narayana Hrudayalaya Diagnostic Centre added, "Our city-centres are well-equipped with cardiology and paediatric healthcare services. Besides these, the state-of-the-art centres will also focus on other vital preventive care services in gynaecology, dentistry, ophthalmology, nephrology and orthopaedics. This will ensure that we are keeping patient-discomfort arising out of travel at a minimal."

The centres will also offer collect and disperse services from your door-step for blood samples for pathological tests. Busy executives who find it difficult to travel to the health city for precautionary health-checks can now avail the 'The Executive Health Check-up Plan' at any of these diagnostic centres.
