The 9th National Conference on "Bioactive Heterocycles and Drug Discovery Paradigm" organized by Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists, CDRI, Lucknow will be hosted by Department of Chemistry - at Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat on 8-10th January 2005.

The conference is also inclusive of one-day international symposium on recent trends in drug discovery. More than 50 delegates from abroad and 600 participants from India are also likely to participate in this event, the officials informed here.

The conference is likely to be inaugurated by Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, director general, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India, New Delhi.
