The symbiosis centre for health care (SCHC) will host the fifth national seminar on medico-legal systems and hospital and health care management on May 10 and 11 at the Symbiosis Vishvabhawan. It will be attended by doctors across the country. Health Minister for State Digvijay Khanvilkar is also slated to attend the function.
In the press statement, Rajiv Yerawdekar, Director, SCHC stresses on the need for systemized policies as there is an increasing need within this sector for prudent, affordable, professional aid and specialized medical help. According to a recent study carried out by the confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's health care industry is expected to grow by around 13 per cent a year for the next six years.
The seminar is open for registration to any graduate interested in the health care and any practising doctors wishing to familiarize themselves with the existing legal norms and statues.
