Nehru College of Pharmacy organises PHARMACON IV 2012 on November 16 & 17 in Kerala
Nehru College of Pharmacy, Thrissur, Kerala has organised two-day sixth national pharmaceutical conference on recent trends in pharmaceutical research 'PHARMACON IV 2012' on November 16 and 17, 2012 at the college. The aim of this conference is to bring together industrial chemists, analysts, pharmacologists, biotechnologists, and other allied professionals to discuss the latest developments and trends in pharmaceutical research.
The theme for this year is “Advances in pharmaceutical research: an interdisciplinary approach.”
PHARMACON IV 2012 will provide in depth analysis of the challenges and achievements involved in the pharmacy profession. This programme comprises distinguished lectures by eminent scientists and professors of pharmacy from across the country.
PHARMACON IV 2012 is designed on the similar lines of previous four national level conferences, Pharmafest 2008, Phycopharm 2009, PHARMACON I 2010, PHARMACON II 2010 and PHARMACON 2011. This conference will be useful for students and faculty members of pharmacy and will give them opportunities for exchange of ideas and mutual interaction.
Dr B Gopalan, executive director of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Chennai, Dr Prabha Thangavelu and Dr R Duraisamy, Nanda college of Pharmacy, Tamil Nadu, Dr J Venkata Rao, professor and head of Department of pharmaceutical biotechnology of MCOPS, Manipal, Dr P Solairaj, head, co-ordinator, department of analysis, SBCP, Sivakasi, Dr R Santhanam, former dean of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu and Dr Sumitha Singh, from College of Pharmacy, SRIPMS, Coimbatore will be present at the event.
