Biotech companies from nine countries namely France, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia have confirmed their participation in Bangalore Bio 2003, the 3rd annual international biotech event being held in Bangalore on April 15-17, 2003. Confirmations are also expected shortly from companies from nine more countries viz, the USA, Canada, Belgium, Japan, Australia, Uruguay, Ireland, South Korea and China. From within the country Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Orissa and Chandigarh have confirmed their participation at the tradeshow. The event features a tradeshow, an international conference, a B2B Forum, Knowledge Pavilion and a CEO Conclave besides several other networking opportunities for the delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and other participants.
The concurrent three day conference of Bangalore Bio 2003 at Indian Institute of Science will feature over 50 international speakers deliberating on 10 session topics including a special roundtable on "Formulating Models for Industry - Institute-VC Partnership".
