The Chandigarh-based National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is conducting fifth training programme for production staff from small industry under Capacity Building Project of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India from May 24 -28, 2004.
The issues related with the implementation of revised Schedule-M by SSIs will be discussed at the workshop. The topics will include: Good Manufacturing Practices on Shop Floor; Good Manufacturing Practices Non-Compliances, Location, Surroundings, Buildings and Environmental Control, Design of facilities suitable for SSIs; Essentials of Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions under Schedule - M including Self - Inspection; Documents and SOPs; Water Systems; HVAC Systems, Clean Room Concepts, Process & Equipments Validation, Formulation Development of Me-Too Products in SSI; Common Problems in Formulation Development and Marketing Strategies suitable for SSIs.
The intake of the course is 50 and participants are expected from all over the country, an official release said.
