NIPER plans seminar on nanotech in advanced drug delivery on October 5 & 6
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is organizing an Indo-US Symposium on Nanotechnology in Advanced Drug Delivery during on October 5 and 6, 2006.
The meeting, sponsored by Indo-US Science & Technology Forum, will offer an opportunity to researchers, educators and developers from academic fields and industries to share their research results and exchange ideas in nanotechnology for advanced drug delivery.
According to the Centre for Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, NIPER, the key topics of the conference include polymer nano-particles, targeted drug delivery, gene delivery, characterization techniques, synthesis of nanoparticles, chemical processing for pharmaceuticals and intellectual property issues.
Students, biomedical scientists, biotechnologists, equipment manufacturers, nano/bio technologists and scientists, pharmaceutical scientists, polymeric biomaterial technologists and scientists, product formulators, protein polymer technologists, sales and marketing specialists, technical managers, representatives from government and educational institutions dealing with drug delivery and controlled release processing technologies and other involved with research in materials, formulations, controlled release for health, agriculture and industry are expected to participate.
