NIPER-SAS Nagar participate at Shizuoka University, Japan symposium on Future of Advanced Researches
NIPER-SAS Nagar has participated in a symposium towards the Future of Advanced Researches at the Shizuoka University, Japan.
A delegation comprising Prof. Raghuram Rao, Director, NIPER, Prof. Inder Pal Singh, Dr Abhay H. Pande and two students Purvi and Sanjay from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar visited Shizuoka University, Japan on an invitation from Professor Enoch Y. Park, Director, Research Institute of Green Science and Technology, Shizuoka University.
The team participated at the 4th International symposium on the Future of Advanced Researches in Shizuoka University’ on March 6, 2018. The director and faculties of NIPER delivered plenary and invited talks on their areas of research. Purvi Shah got the Best Presentation Award for her poster. The delegation also had a meeting with the president of Shizuoka University Prof. Kiyoshi Ishii to discuss the possibility of future collaborative researches as well as faculty and student exchanges between NIPER-SAS Nagar and Shizuoka University. The delegation also discussed the possibility of scientific cooperation with several renowned faculties of Shizuoka University.
The delegation also met Raj Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Chief of Mission and Dr. Purnima Rupal, Counsellor, Science and Technology, Embassy of India, Tokyo to discuss areas of mutual research interest between NIPER and Shizuoka University.
