The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is conducting its ninth training program from 20 - 24 September, 2004.
The programme, which comes under Capacity Building Project, sponsored by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and funded by World Bank, is meant for Production Staff from Small Scale Industry. The intake of the course is 50 and participants are expected from all over the country.
The issues related with the implementation of revised Schedule-M by SSIs will be thoroughly discussed at the workshop. The topics of discussion will include Good Manufacturing Practices on Shop Floor, WHO Certification Scheme, Clean Room Concepts, HVAC Systems, Maintenance of Pharmaceutical facility, Sanitation and Environmental Monitoring, Water for Pharmaceutical Use, Process & Equipment Validation, Maintenance of Equipment, SOPs and Documentation Control, Procurement and Storage of Raw Materials, Selection of Packaging Material, Formulation Development of ME-TOO Products, Common Problems in Formulation Development, Training and Self Inspection, Good Manufacturing Practices Non-Compliances, informed officials.
