NIPER to hold training programme for production staff from SSI from 26-30 July 2004
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) based at SAS Nagar is conducting seventh training programme under Capacity Building Project of Ministry of Heath & Family Welfare, Government of India from 26th - 30th July 2004.
Government of India has come out with the revised Good Manufacturing Practices (Schedule-M) guidelines, which are required to be implemented even by Small Scale manufacturers by start of the next year. The issues related with the implementation of revised Schedule-M by SSIs will be thoroughly discussed at the workshop, a release from NIPER said.
The topics of discussion will include: Good Manufacturing Practices on Shop Floor; Essentials of Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions in Schedule - M, WHO Certification Scheme, Clean Room Concepts, HVAC Systems, Maintenance of Pharmaceutical facility, Sanitation and Environmental Monitoring etc.
