The NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) in Andhra Pradesh has announced admissions into MD (Ayurveda, Homeo and Unani), M.Sc (Nursing), and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) courses under various affiliated medical colleges across the state for the academic year 2012-2013.

The University registrar T Venu Gopal Rao informed that eligible candidates can apply online for three MD (Doctor of Medicine) courses under Ayurveda, Homeo and Unani medicines and one M.Sc course under Nursing. The candidates desirous to take admissions into MPT course can also apply online through the university website www.pgntruhs.org.

Candidates can download the application form and prospectus available on the site. The last date for submission of application is September 5, 2012.

Except for MD (Unani) course, Vijayawada has been selected as entrance test centre for MD (Ayurveda), MD (Homeo) and M.Sc (Nursing). Hyderabad has been chosen as the test centre for MD (Unani). The entrance exam for MD courses is scheduled on October 7 from 10 am to 1 pm. Entrance test for M.Sc (Nursing) will be conducted on September 16 from 11 am to 12.30 pm in Vijayawada. There will be no entrance test for the MPT courses.
