Opto subsidiary Unetixs observes silver jubilee, Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee visits facility

Unetixs Vascular Inc., a group company of Opto Circuits (India) Ltd., and a leader in non-invasive vascular technology, has completed 25 years since its inception. The company commemorated its milestone anniversary by hosting Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, Michael Fine, director of Department Health, and other state leaders at the company's facility on October 28.

“Throughout the company's 25 years, not only has Unetixs been at the forefront of innovation but has been creating jobs in Rhode Island," said Governor Chafee.

"We also look forward to working with the State of Rhode Island to organise various events to offer peripheral arterial disease (PAD) screening to the people of Rhode Island in hopes of driving awareness of this debilitating disease that affects 12 million people in the United States, including five per cent of the over-50 population,” said Neeraj Jha, CEO, Unetixs Vascular Inc.

"This milestone anniversary is an opportunity for us to reflect on our accomplishments while we focus on future plans to increase our product portfolio, customer base and market penetration across the globe," said Vinod Ramnani, chairman and managing director, Opto Circuits (India) Ltd.

Unetixs Vascular Inc. was established in North Kingstown, Rhode Island in 1988. Its product line consists of non-invasive vascular testing equipment such as the Revo 1100 and the MultiLab Series LHS-TI & 2CP-R– technologically advanced systems that continue to have a global market leadership.
