P-MEC India to be held at Mumbai from Nov 24 to 27

Pharmaceutical Machinery and Equipment Convention (P-MEC) India, South Asia's biggest pharmaceutical machinery and technology exhibition, will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from November 24 to 27, 2007. Organised by CMP India, a subsidiary of United Business Media, P-MEC India would be held concurrently with ICSE India and CPhI India.

The four-day event will showcase pharma machinery, plant and facility equipments, instrumentation, filtration systems, automation and packaging. It will focus on one of the key challenges in pharma services to develop more efficient production routes and systems for increasingly complex healthcare products. P-MEC India, which is considered to be a platform to explore new technologies and latest developments in the pharma machinery industry, will also feature displays from every spectrum of the sector.

With over 300 exhibitors occupying 21,000 sq mtrs, the exhibition will cover the entire gamut of pharma machine manufacturing and process. It will also feature technical seminars and a virtual factory, where exhibitors would show video presentations about their products and services. Buyer-seller meets are also being arranged in order to benefit the exhibitors.

The event, which is officially supported by the Indian Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturers Association (IPMMA) is also being organised in partnership with Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (PHARMEXCIL). It is also supported by organisations like Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), Indian Drug manufacturers Association (IDMA), Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association of India (BDMA) and Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA).
