Parasu Dental Hospital launches state of art dental centre in Chennai

Parasu Dental Hospital, one of Chennai's oldest dental hospitals, launched an advanced, state-of-art specialty dental centre in Chennai on the occasion of its founder having completed 35 years of dental practice. Surjit Singh Barnala, governor of Tamil Nadu has inaugurated the centre. Dr Jeepiar, chancellor, Satyabama University, presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Chelliah Venkataraman, founder, Parasu Dental Hospital said, "Parasu Dental Hospital is equipped with the latest technology to suit evolving dental needs of people. Dedicated dental units with highly skilled and trained consultants and specialists offer different specialty services in dentistry. With five dental suites, the new centre will provide high quality super specialty dental treatment using the latest and most advanced technology and gadgets. The new facility will serve as a subsidiary to the already existing hospital with nine dental suites, which cater to a patient's general dental treatment requirements."

Dr P Yashwanth, director, consultant orthodontist & cosmetic dentist at the hospital said the new state of art dental centre will provide international quality dental care in a sterile quality controlled environment, as well as expert care at affordable costs.

Sources from the hospital said the hospital was started as a new genre of dental hospitals fifteen years ago with the unified aim of providing the highest quality of dental treatment at par with international standards at an affordable cost.

Parasu Dental Hospital operates three free community dental centres one each in Raj Bhavan, City Police Hospital, Egmore and at the national Agro Foundation Facility at Soornampet near Pondicherry.
