Parry Nutraceuticals bets big on wellness with dedicated arm, targets Rs.100-cr by 2014-2015

Parry Nutraceuticals, a division of E.I.D. Parry (I) Ltd. and a part of the US$ 4.4 billion Murugappa Group, has set up a dedicated health and wellness brand, Parry’s Wellness. The company, which is a pioneer in science-based nutrition and dietary supplements, aims to get consumers make smart choices for a healthy life with a range of products under the Parry’s Wellness brand. It has decided to allocate considerable resources for brand building and has set an ambitious target to make Parry’s Wellness a Rs.100-cr brand by 2014-2015.

The objective is to provide nutrition solutions for the common man by partnering with internationally acclaimed medical practitioners, nutritionists and dieticians. Consumers can connect with the Wellness experts under the brand’s aegis through discussion forums. This will help consumers overcome lifestyle-related health issues by bridging the nutritional gaps.

The wellness arm will focus on good health by harnessing technology in cultivation, extraction, formulation and branding. It will be the umbrella brand for the Parry Nutraceuticals OTC product range, including the world’s finest certified Organic Spirulina, GreenT6 – The power of six cups of green tea in a capsule, Pro9 – Whey Protein Drink, Pro9D – protein drink for diabetics, rejuveneyes- for tired eyes and skin fresh - for healthy skin. They are also looking at expanding their product portfolio with Spirulina Variants, Immunity product for children, Fibre supplement that is extracted from fenugreek and many more. Like always their product line up is very unique, innovative and performance based backed with strong science.
