Pfizer Inc. said that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 relating to its acquisition of Vicuron Pharmaceuticals has expired and that the company expects the transaction will close on Sept. 14. The closing is subject to completion of customary conditions to closing.
