Pharma industry oriented course to begin from tomorrow at H'bad

Hightech Institute of Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Natco Pharma initiative, is organizing a short-term industry oriented course for the second batch of pharmacy graduates being organized in series.

The eight-week course, followed by intensive, in depth training in pharma industries or approved drug testing laboratories, is to start from October 27, 2005.

Eminent personalities from pharma industry and the drugs control administration department will deliver lectures on subjects relating to the pharma industry and regulatory affairs.

The faculty includes Dr M Venkateshwarlu, deputy drugs controller of India; Dr P Khadgapathi, executive director, Natco Pharma; Dr KV Jogi, ex-director of CDTL; PV Rao, senior vice-president, Biological Evans; Dr V Satyanarayana, Sipra Labs; Raja Mouli, MD, Sunrise Pharma; Sarveswara Rao, senior vice president, DRL; Ramesh Kumar, ED, Gland Pharma; RS Prasad, ex-CEO of Orchid Pharma; Dr DM Ranga Rao, director and senior vice president, Vimta Labs; IS Gandhi, executive vice
president, Vimta Labs.

Dr Guru Prasad, director, Ascho Analytical Services; Subbi Reddy, deputy director, APDCA; G Dharmadata, assistant director, APDCA; AV Satyanarayana, Dr RS Naidu, Linga Rao, Parihar, Rama Gopal, PSRK Prasad, Mohan, Ganapathy are all senior officials from Natco; PLKM Rao, GM, Sarvotham Care; KVGK Raju, director, Gland Pharma; Goutham Buddha and SVN Raju from DRL; Palleswara Rao, production manager, Hetero Drugs; and Koti Reddy, managing director, Chemi Labs, will also deliver lectures and share their experiences on various aspects of the industry.

The course will be conducted at Natco House. Fresh BPharm graduates and working chemists are eligible to join the course.
