Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit to be held in Bangalore on Jan 24

The much awaited national event 'The Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit 2009' will be held at Bangalore on January 24. The one-day summit is being organized to bring together leaders from the industry and crystallize their views to find solutions and strategies to help the Indian drug manufacturing industry face challenges

The summit is being held in aid of Akshaya Patra, the world's largest run school meal programme which is feeding around one million school children everyday across India. Recently, even president-elect Obama had also commended the organization for the service of feeding poor school children across India.

The event is being held in association with Pharmexcil, Indian Drug Manufacturers Association, Indian Pharmaceutical Associations and the Organization of Pharmaceutical products of India.

The who's who of pharma industry led by Bangalore's Kiran Mazumdar CMD, Biocon Lid, Kewal Handa of Pfizer Ltd, Anuj Saxena of Elder Healthcare, Sameeta Reddy of Apollo Hopsitals, Dr Ramakant Panda of Asian Heart Institute and a host of others will congregate.

Apart from the Indian industry the summit will also see the presence of over 100 professionals from Srilanka, Bangladesh, Middle East, United states and other countries with close pharma relations with India.
