PharmaLytica 2017 exhibits new trends and innovations in pharma industry
The 4th edition of PharmaLytica international exhibition has been launched in Hyderabad at a grand scale. With more than 150 exhibitors from different parts of the country taking part in the two-day event has put on show the latest industry trends and innovations in analytical, machinery, laboratory and packaging sectors related to the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary, department of Information Technology and Industries, government of Telangana, officially inaugurated the programme and said that the government is taking pro-active steps to encourage the growth of industrial sector in Telangana and invited more innovator companies to invest and reap the opportunities offered by the government.
According to Yogesh Mudras, managing director, UBM, the organiser of PharmaLytica 2017 event, “With Hyderabad growing in its length and breadth in the pharma space we felt the city is an apt region to organize Pharmalytica. In fact this is an ideal platform for pharma professionals from Analytical and Bio tech, Lab equipments & Lab chemicals, Pharma machinery and packaging sub-sectors to showcase their new innovations and at the same time learn about the new technologies and trends going on in this sector.”
This year the 4th edition of the expo has witnessed participation from over 150 exhibitors from across the country including notable industry players such as Standard Group of Companies, Sanitt Equipment & Machines, Gandhi Automations, Mack Pharmatech, S.K Pharma Machinery, Sterimax Engineering, Utopia Optovision, Rahul Enterprises, Chemipack India, Shree Naina Glass, Komal Industries, Allpharm Technologies, Subodh Engineering, Kirloskar Pneumatic, Integrated Clean rooms Technology, Accura Pharmaquip Inos Technologies among others.
Leading industry experts who took part in the panel discussions delved on the growth phase of the Indian pharma and the challenges the industry is facing. Dr. Rao Vadlamudi, President, Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Dr. P.V. Appaji, Director General Emeritus, Pharmexcil, Dr. P.S. Rao, chief executive officer and President of Simson Pharma and Avinash Talwar, Director and Head Global Sourcing of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories discussed on how Indian companies have made a mark in the bulk drug sector and started focusing on research and development for developing and inventing new age technologies and machinery for an all-round faster and efficient growth of Indian Pharma sector.
Referring to the increasing scrutiny by the food and drug administrators Tadashi koshida, Overseas sales and Technical support, Asia Pacific, Fuji Electric spoke about the key challenges faced by the pharma companies from food and drug administrator authorities (FDA) and gave detailed presentations on importance of data integrity and the do’s and don’ts from the regulatory perspective.
Elaborating on the transformational change witnessed among the Indian pharma companies, G. Sunder, GM-DQA at Natco research centre, spoke about the importance of data analytics and quality control regulatory inspections compliance.
Apart from this, Gunna Kiran, chief executive officer of Gubba Cold Storage gave presentation on Pharma Preservation in a Cold Storage, Kartik Khanna, Director from Naina Glass discussed about Camera inspection system and Vishesh Gupta, Director P.R packaging gave elaborate presentations on new innovations in packaging.
