The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil), in association with FICCI, is organising a three region (Africa, ASEAN and GCC) international pharma and health conference on December 1 and 2, 2005.
The conference coincides with the two pharma events '57th IPC' and 'Pharma Expo 2005', being held at Hyderabad from December 2 to 4, 2005, where over five thousand international and national delegates would be participating.
The organisers expect participation of key officials from the pharma sector from about 40 countries representing the three regions. Drug regulatory authorities, health ministry officials and drug procuring agencies, importers from these countries are expected to take part in the event.
The conference would include presentations on India's strength in various fields such as pharma, healthcare and medical services, biotech and Ayush. It will also have interactive sessions on drug regulatory aspects in Africa, ASEAN and GCC nations. Experts from the Indian industry will detail on what the country can offer to the visiting countries.
'India Show', facilitating buyer-seller meetings, would also be organised to showcase the companies' products.
