The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) will participate in INHEX 2005, the International Integrated Healthcare Expo and Seminar to be held during August 19-21, 2005 at Edison, New Jersey, USA, as part of its efforts to boost pharmaceutical and herbal drugs export from India.
The Council had recently constituted a Committee on ‘Medicinal Plants and related value added products’ to give a fillip to the export of medicinal plant bulk extracts and formulations from India. The members of the Council will get financial assistance to the extent of Rs 50,000 towards stall rental charges, as available under MDA schemes of Govt of India. This incentive is available to all the exporters, whose export turn over during the previous year do not exceed Rs 10 crore and who have 12 months membership with the Council, informed sources.
INHEX 2005 will have plenary sessions on integrated healthcare systems, medicinal plants and herbs and scientific validation, quality and efficacy of integrated healthcare products and treatments, regulatory issues, certification of medicinal plants and herbs and interactive sessions.
There will be a trade exhibition to provide opportunities for practitioners and organizations to exhibit products and technologies to a core critical audience consisting of professionals from the healthcare and medical sectors.
