The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) is planning to participate in the Southeast Asian Healthcare Show 2006 scheduled to be held from April 26 to 28, 2006 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The highlights of the event will be Healthcare Show, Pharma Show and Medical Beauty show. Last year's show attracted more than 130 exhibitors across the world and 3500 trade visitors. Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines are to take part in the event. The 2006 show will have an India Pavilion.

MDA to the extent of 90 per cent / 75 per cent on travel (maximum Rs 60,000/-) and 90 per cent / 75 per cent of stall rental charges (maximum Rs 50,000/-) is available to those exporters whose export turnover during previous year do not exceed Rs 10 crore and who have 12 months membership with the Council.
