Pharmintech 2010 exhibition to be held in Italy from May 12-14, 2010

Pharmintech, the international exhibition for technology, materials and services for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical products is scheduled to take place at BolognaFiere from May 12 to 14 2010. This exhibition is bound to be the event to fulfil the needs of different industrial segments: visitors include production, marketing and sales managers, in addition to decision-makers from top management & Research and Development departments.

The Italian drug industry being the second in Europe by number of companies annually records a production volume of 22 billion euros; and is projecting a growth of 27 per cent for 2010. This is one of the many reasons that equipment manufacturers are able to reach the highest quality of buyers and find the solution to their production & packaging needs.

Visitors are high-profile professionals from a variety of companies. The participation of visitors from major pharmaceutical companies is significant: one-third of visitors work in companies employing more than 250 people. This massive participation clearly shows the influence and prestige acquired by Pharmintech inside the pharmaceutical business community and the strong international appeal of the technology and solutions showcased by the exhibition. Pharmintech 2010 features an even richer promotional plan, designed to ensure a complete coverage and ongoing information for visitors. The communication plan for the forthcoming edition includes important investment on the domestic and international market, with a double objective: to build visitor loyalty and expand the exhibition’s international reach. The results of this strong promotional action on international markets will become evident during Pharmintech 2010. Delegations of industry professionals, journalists and opinion leaders from 22 countries – in particular from Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, Latin America, Asia and USA – have already confirmed their presence. This substantial international participation is made possible by the cooperation with ICE (the Italian Trade Institute) and with the Emilia Romagna Regional Government.

A great international convention dedicated to 'Designing Quality, Efficiency and Sustainability into Pharmaceutical Processes' is scheduled for May 11, 2010 – the day before Pharmintech’s official opening – at the Royal Hotel Carlton, Bologna.

The event is organized by Ipack-Ima, with the prestigious cooperation of ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering), the world’s biggest association dedicated to all pharmaceutical industry professionals, that included the event in its agenda of official meetings in Italy, and of PDA (Parenteral Drug Association), the renowned international association dealing with the development, monitoring, quality and regulation of pharmaceutical products and related.
