Piramal Glass Limited has been honoured with 'OPPI Best Vendor Award' for the sixth time since the inception of this award by OPPI.

Piramal Glass Limited, a leader in the glass packaging segment, is a high-growth company with a low-cost manufacturing base and high outreach. Piramal Glass is among the few companies in the world - and the only one in India - manufacturing the entire pharmaceutical range - USP types-I, II and III amber and clear bottles and vials from 2 ml to large 2,500 ml glass containers. ISO-9002 certified since 1996, the company is the first in its industry to be certified ISO-9001 under the new 2000 version, ISO-14001 and OHSAS 180001:1999 for its plants in India. The company is also the first in the industry to obtain SA-8000 certifications.

This achievement has been made in spite of taking a whopping price increase of approximately 20 per cent in the last four months and exhibits that our customers do recognise the genuine efforts that we make in fulfilling our commitment towards delivery."
