Priolkar elected president of Indian Pharmaceutical Association

Subodh Priolkar has been elected as president of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) for the year 2004 – 2006, and along with him a fresh team of office bearers too were elected for a two year term.

Priolkar, currently is managing director of Valois India Pvt. Ltd, and has vast experience in pharmaceutical industries in India. He is a graduate in pharmacy with postgraduate management qualification from University of Mumbai. He is also the chairman of Bombay College of Pharmacy, and is a Fellow of Indian Pharmaceutical Association.

The other Office Bearers are S. D. Joag - Hon. general secretary, T. B. Nair – executive secretary, Dr Mahesh Burande (chairman - Community Pharmacy Division), Prof. K. Chinnaswamy (chairman - Education Division), Dr. B.G. Nagavi (chairman - Hospital Pharmacy Division), Dr. D. B. A. Narayana (chairman - Industrial Pharmacy Division), Dr. Subodh Adeshara (chairman - Regulatory Affairs Division), Kaushik Desai – Hon. treasurer, Dr. M.K. Raina – editor, Pharma Times, Dr. Rao V.S.V. Vadlamudi – editor, Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
