Prof Anantha Naik Nagappa, Professor of Pharma Mangement of Manipal College of Pharmacuetical Sciences, attended world congress of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science 68th International Congress of FIP at Basel, Switzerland on 29th August- 4th September.

He presented the six papers at the congress - evaluation of quality of information on AIDS; assessment of quality of information on internet for asthma patient education; assessment of minimum disease knowledge of diabetes, asthma BP and AIDS among university students; look alike and sound alike names of branded medicines in Indian pharmaceutical market; trends in labelling of ethical pharmaceuticals in India and evaluation of medicinal drug promotion practices - trends in pharmaceutical marketing.

He is recipient of grants from Manipal University, CSIR New Delhi, INSA New Delhi and Karnataka State Pharmacy Council, Bangalore.
