Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI) has bagged the South Asia eHealth Summit Award 2015 in the category of ‘Use of ICT in healthcare delivery (mHealth).’ The company developed the Maternal And Paediatric mHealth solution and the paediatric feature of which is currently implemented in Apollo Cradle, Kozhikode.
The Maternal and Paediatric mHealth app is a robust suite of applications, which provides assistance to young mothers, by taking care of pre-natal, post-natal and pediatric needs. This application could be linked to the hospital’s information management system; it can connect seamlessly to the hospital’s IT systems and helps making the necessary appointments, tracks progress and provides clinically relevant recommendations. This application thus provides point of care delivery, which is personalized and relevant to the needs of the mother.
South Asia eHealth Summit Award is a dedicated platform to explore the latent potential of innovation in health care sector across 8 countries in South Asia: India, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. There were totally 12 nominations that were received which included entries from other countries in South Asia.
