SAARC health ministers to meet in Maldives to discuss SARS

Health ministers from the seven SAARC nations will meet in the Maldives this week to discuss collective action to contain SARS. Ministers of the regional grouping had been invited to the Maldives for a meeting on Tuesday to hammer out a common strategy to deal with the problem. Besides India, the other members of SAARC are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
