Sanofi India net rises by 16.9% in Q3

Sanofi India, a Rs.1,875 crore MNC, has registered satisfactory financial performance during the third quarter ended September 2015. Its net sales increased by 13.4 per cent to Rs.552.8 crore from Rs.487.3 crore in the similar period of last year. EBIDTA improved by 28.2 per cent to Rs.151.3 crore from Rs.118 crore. Its net profit moved up by 16.9 per cent to Rs.72.5 crore from Rs.62 crore. EPS moved up to Rs.31.54 from Rs.26.93 in the last period.

For the first nine months ended September 2015, Sanofi's net sales increased by 9.5 per cent to Rs.1,527 crore from Rs.1,294 crore in the corresponding half of last year. Its net profit increased by 17.6 per cent to Rs.201 crore from Rs.171 crore.

The company paid equity dividend of Rs.18 per share in August 2015. The company is selling its commercial property, being land along with building standing thereon situated at Andheri East for a consideration of Rs.111 crore and the transaction is likely to be completed in current quarter.
