The Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturers Association (ADMA), the apex body of the Indian Ayurved Industry, in association with the Department of Indian Systems of Medicines & Homeopathy (Dept. of ISM&H), Ministry of Health & Family Affairs, Government of India is organizing the second national symposium for Ayurved industry on February 13-15, 2003 in Delhi.
The event would be addressing wide-ranging issues related to the challenges, trends, and scope and is expected to draw wide participation from industry, opinion leaders as well as government officials and dignitaries.
The three-day symposium will feature speakers and panels addressing pressing "Problems, Potential, and Possibilities" of relevance to the Ayurved industry. In addition, the symposium will address issues such as regulatory matters, bio resources, globalization, and technology adoption among others that will impact the future and have far reaching consequences. The symposium is structured to enable the participants gain new insights and learning.
The rapidly changing business environment - locally and globally, and a plethora of multidimensional issues facing the industry have compelled the Ayurved community to be sensitive to these changes, and get equipped to take on the challenges. "The way Ayurved could be harnessed to serve humanity better depends heavily on the shoulders of our professionals who are legally, morally and professionally responsible for impacting the future," said Dr. Narendra Bhatt, General Secretary, ADMA.
