Seminar on Demystifying IP issues on Apr 26

The Institute of Intellectual Property Studies (IIPS) has organized a seminar on Demystifying IP Issues on the World Intellectual Property Day. The seminar on April 26 will cover key concepts and issues related to IP. It will explore the concept of Property and the nature of Intellectual Property, and the various forms of intellectual property rights (patents, copyrights, trademarks etc.). Further, the economic and commercial significance relating to the creation, use and protection of IP rights will also be discussed.

The speakers include established authorities like Dr. Prabuddha Ganguli, an IP expert, Dr. M.D.Nair, a reputed patent consultant, Dr. Gopakumar G. Nair, IP consultant and past president of IDMA, and Mr. Sanjay Kher, a senior IP lawyer.

The seminar will be held at Santokba Sadan Hall, SVKM Campus, N.S.Road No. 1, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai 400 056.
