A one-day seminar on medicinal plant cultivation and its marketing will be conducted by Naveen Valanmai Trust, Chennai, on June 12th Sunday, at Hotel Peninsula.

The seminar aims to help farmers to get aware of medicinal plant cultivation and its possibilities in marketing. The seminar, 'Herbal Cultivation and buy back' will discuss the possibilities of cultivating Biodiesel jatropha, Aloe Vera, Chenna and Stevia in commercial basis.

Guidelines for starting the project of cultivation, details for acquiring government subsidies for cultivation of these medicinal plants, problems to be faced in cultivation, and the details about the buyback of the product are other issues for discussion in the seminar.
